1. Data Stored Locally
Bill Promptly stores bill and payment data locally on your device. This may include bill names, company names, amounts, due dates, categories, notes, payment records, reference numbers, receipt file paths, reminder settings, backup data, and AI Entry settings.
2. No Account Required
The core app does not require an account. We do not require your name, email address, phone number, or login credentials to use the main bill tracking features.
3. Optional AI Entry
AI Entry is an optional feature that is turned off by default. If you enable AI Entry, choose an AI provider, and enter an API key, the app may send your natural-language input and relevant bill context to the selected AI provider so it can prepare a bill or payment action.
Examples of data sent for AI Entry may include the text you type, matching bill titles, company names, due dates, payment status, and remaining amounts. AI provider processing is subject to the privacy policy and terms of the provider you choose. You can turn off AI Entry at any time in Settings.
4. Notifications
Bill Promptly may ask for permission to send local notifications for bill reminders. You can disable notifications in system settings. Reminder notifications are generated locally by your device.
5. Backups and Exports
Bill Promptly lets you export CSV files and JSON backups. These files are created only when you choose to export or back up your data. You are responsible for where you save or share exported files.
6. Third-Party Services
Bill Promptly does not use advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs. Optional AI Entry may connect to the AI provider selected by the user.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete individual bills and payments inside the app. You can remove all local app data by deleting the app from your device.
