Bill Promptly ("the App") is a personal bill and payment management tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
2. What Data We Collect
We do NOT collect:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Location data
- Usage analytics or crash reports sent to us
- Advertising identifiers
- Any data transmitted over the internet
Data stored locally on your device only:
- Bill names, company names, amounts, due dates, categories, and notes you enter
- Payment records (amount, date, method, reference number, notes)
- Notification scheduling data (managed by the operating system)
3. How Your Data Is Used
Your data is used solely to:
- Display your bills and payment history inside the app
- Calculate remaining balances and payment progress
- Schedule local reminder notifications on your device
4. Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored in a local SQLite database inside your device's private app sandbox.
- No data is transmitted over the internet at any time.
- No third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs are included in the app.
- Deleting the app removes all associated data from your device permanently.
5. Third-Party Services
This app does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data.
The only external dependencies are open-source libraries:
- Flutter (Google) — open-source UI framework
- SQLite — local database engine (runs entirely on-device)
Neither of these transmits data to external servers.
6. Notification Permissions
The app requests permission to send local notifications so it can remind you of upcoming due dates. You may deny this permission; the app will still function fully, but you will not receive reminders. You can change this permission at any time in your device Settings.
7. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no data leaves your device, this app poses no data risk to any user, including children.
8. Your Rights
Because we hold none of your data on any server, you have complete control:
