AI diary generation isn't working — what should I do?

Please check your internet connection. AI generation requires a network call to OpenAI. If the connection is fine and it still fails, please try again later or send us an email.
Where is my diary data stored?

All data is stored locally on your device only — nothing is uploaded to any server. We recommend regularly exporting your data via the "Export" option in the Settings tab to avoid data loss.
I forgot my PIN — what do I do?

On the lock screen, tap "Forgot PIN." After confirming, your PIN will be cleared and you can re-enter the app. This does not delete any of your diary data.
How do I transfer my data to a new phone?

On your old phone, go to Settings and tap "Export all diaries" to save a JSON file. On your new phone, after installing the app, tap "Import from backup file" and select the JSON file to restore everything.
Can I edit or delete a generated diary entry?

Yes. Go to the Diary tab, navigate to the date, and use the edit icon to modify or the delete icon to remove the entry. Fragments can be deleted by long-pressing them on the Home screen.
What's the difference between writing styles?

You can choose from four styles in the Settings tab:
Warm — personal and tender, like a letter to yourself
Literary — evocative and poetic in tone
Concise — clean and factual
Poetic — short, lyrical, like prose poetry
Changing the style affects future generated entries, not existing ones.
