Information We Collect
Cached does not collect any information. The app operates entirely offline. No data is sent to any server, and no account or sign-in is required to use the app.
Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Item names and storage locations you enter
- Photos of items and storage locations (compressed and stored locally)
- Custom categories you create
- Your language preference
This data is stored using your device's local storage and is never transmitted anywhere.
Camera and Photo Library Access
Cached requests access to your camera and photo library only when you explicitly tap the photo button to add a photo. This permission is used solely to let you attach images to your items. No photos are uploaded or shared.
Third-Party Services
Cached does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Data Export
Cached allows you to export your data as an Excel file or JSON backup. This export is initiated only by you, and the file is shared directly from your device using your device's standard share sheet. We do not receive or store any exported data.
Children's Privacy
Cached does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Data Deletion
To delete all your data, simply delete the Cached app from your device. All locally stored data will be permanently removed.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date below. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
