Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No. Your Arsenal, Ammo, and Activity data is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export a backup or choose to post on the Wall community feed.

How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings inside the app and tap "Export Backup." This saves a backup file locally on your device. To restore, tap "Import Backup" and select the file.

I switched to a new phone. How do I transfer my data?

Export a backup on your old device, transfer the backup file to your new device (via AirDrop, email, or Files app), then open Gun Vault HQ on the new device and use "Import Backup" in Settings.

What does the Wall feature require?

The Wall is a community feed where you can share range days, hunts, and results. It requires creating a free account with your email address. The Wall is entirely optional — all other features work without an account.

How do I delete my Wall account?

Email us at ruoya327@163.com with the subject line "Delete Wall Account" and we will permanently delete your account and all associated data.

How does ammo deduction work?

When you log an Activity (range session, hunt, etc.) and enter the rounds fired for each firearm, Gun Vault HQ automatically deducts those rounds from your corresponding ammo inventory.

Can I set a low-stock alert for my ammo?

Yes. On any ammo entry, you can set a minimum threshold. Gun Vault HQ will flag that caliber when your stock falls below the threshold.

The app is asking for a PIN I didn't set. What do I do?
