Summary
Quote Keeper is designed as a local-first app. Quotes, authors, tags, reflections, favorites, and app preferences are stored on your device. We do not operate a server for syncing your quote content.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Personal identifiers such as name, email address, or phone number
- Location data
- Your quote content, authors, tags, or reflections
- Device identifiers such as IDFA or IDFV
- Analytics, advertising data, or crash reports sent to us
- Camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library data
Local Storage
The data you create in the app is stored locally on your device using standard local storage. If you delete the app, your local data may be removed. Use the export feature before deleting the app or changing devices.
Permissions
- Notifications: optional, used only for the daily quote reminder when you enable it.
- File access: used only when you choose to import or export quote data.
Quote Keeper does not request camera, microphone, location, or contacts permissions for its core features.
Third-Party Services
Quote Keeper does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or remote account services. Local notification and file sharing features use system capabilities on your device.
Children's Privacy
Quote Keeper is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date on this page and describe the change in an app update when appropriate.
